Travel from Toronto Airport to University of Toronto/Downtown

Express train to downtown New in 2015: The Union Pearson (UP) Express train from Pearson airport to Downtown Toronto. From Pearson airport, you can take the UP Express train to Bloor GO station which is adjacent to Dundas West subway station on line 2. From there take the subway eastbound to St.George station. The hotel is on Bloor St just west of St George St. The cost is $5.65 for the train and $3 for the subway. The total travel time is 35 minutes.

By Taxi: Pre-arranged taxis from the airport to the University of Toronto are at a flat rate of $53.00. A Dispatcher can be found by going to door D1 in Terminal 1, or Post 29 in Terminal 3 to arrange one of these taxis. Taxis are also available at any terminal on the arrivals level and may be flat rate or metred depending on the taxi company and the time of day.

Public transit Travelling from Pearson Airport to the hotel by public transit takes approximately 45 minutes and costs $3. Take TTC bus route 192 Airport Rocket from Terminal 3 Arrivals level or Terminal 1 Ground level to Kipling Subway Station. From there take subway line 2 eastbound to St. George station. The hotel is on Bloor St just west of St George St. The bus operates from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., seven days a week.

Car rental The airport has many major car rental companies at all three terminals. However, parking in Toronto can be problematic. If you wish to rent a car, driving directions out of the airport complex to the hotel and University are included below.

Driving directions from Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport:
To exit the airport complex: Follow the signs to Hwy 409 East
Follow Hwy 409 East to Hwy 427. Take the Hwy 427 South exit. ~1 km
Follow Hwy 427 South to the Gardiner Expressway. ~10 km
Take the Gardiner Expressway East towards Toronto (turnoff is to the left).
Follow the Gardiner Expressway to the Spadina Ave exit (turnoff is to the right). 13.5 km
Turn left onto Spadina (northbound).
For Hotel: Take Spadina Ave to Bloor St. Turn right (eastbound). Hotel is on your left after 2 blocks.
For University of Toronto Faculty Club: Take Spadina Ave to Wilcocks St. Turn right (eastbound). The Faculty Club is the second building on the left.
