i'm dating a church


I've been a Christian for 25 years, and it's high time I did it in community.

Last night I went to the first class in membership series at Freedomize Toronto . It was fantastic! Todd and Dave, the senior pastors, are amazing -- articulate, intelligent, unapologetic, and kind. They're both very good at putting into sentences all the things that I want to say when people ask me about Christianity, but can't find the right words for. It's funny that I've gone to church my whole life, but that it was never this kind of community experience.

So I'm still a bit wary, but mostly excited, and increasingly convinced that God is leading me there.
