El Vez for Prez!

looks like we all got some splainin' to do....

Last night after church membership meeting my pal Sue and I went to see ElVez at the Horseshoe. Because nothing follows up a 2 hour discussion on authentic Christianity like a performance by the Mexican Elvis. It was awesome!

I also managed to do a few rows of my brown rib cardigan from VK, but I forgot to take a picture of it this morning. Whatever, it's a square of brown ribbing - not that exciting.

My stupid mittens are still not done! I just need like a spare 30 minutes to sit down and do the thumb, but I never seem to have that spare 30 minutes...sigh. I really want to be done now because (a) it's getting chil-lay, and (b) I need those needles for the fabulous turtleneck shrug I'm going to make with fabulous orange lamb's pride.

I'd really like to get some Filatura di Crosa Zara from elann.com (it's lovely, and it comes in many browns and earthtones), but I can't decide how much, what color, and for what. Hm.
