My Curriculum Vitae is available upon request
In the meantime...
let's step on for a short pseudo-CV :-)
I was born in Romania, in Transylvania
1986-1990: High School in Oradea, at Lyceum No. 1 (with a short "intermezzo" at Lyceum "E. Gojdu").
1990 September: started undergraduate studies
at the Physics Department of West University of Timisoara ( Romania )
but...
...left it for a colder (& cooler) place: the Physics Department of Moscow State University, "Lomonosov", Russia.
First, I had to get used to Russian language (90/91). Then, finally started studying Physics in Sept. 1991.
I graduated with M. Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from MSU in Jan. 1997.
The topic of the diploma work:
"Supersymmetric 1-loop corrections to t-quark mass". Advisor: Prof. Dmitri Igorevich Kazakov
Next step: Dubna, Laboratory of Theoretical Physics
Dubna is located about 130 km north of Moscow, on Volga's bench
The coolest
place ... :-)
March 1997 - July 2000: research & post-graduate studies in Dubna. Worked under Prof. Kazakov's supervision.
Field: High Energy Physics, in particulary the phenomenology of the (supersymmetric) Higgs' boson(s).
See SLAC-SPIRES data base for an up to date list of my papers on this and related topics.
Nowadays I'm working towards my PhD in Physics
at the Physics Department of University of Toronto, Canada.
Advisor: Prof. Theodore G. Shepherd.
The topic: applications of the Hamiltonian mechanics to the theory of available potential energy of
the middle atmosphere circulation. Take a look at my research description for details.
